Why Is It Free?
We launched the Online Learning Hub to support young women across Africa by providing them with the tools and guidance they need to tell their own stories and pursue their passions. In a world where their voices are often unheard, we believe that every woman deserves the chance to express herself and make her mark. By offering free access to courses in storytelling, photography, and professional development, we aim to bridge the gap in resources and opportunities, helping these women build confidence, acquire valuable skills, and connect with a community of like-minded individuals. Our mission is to create a platform where young women can grow, inspire others, and contribute to a more equitable world where their stories are valued and heard.
Testimonial
“Since Cameras For Girls was introduced last year after our call with Amina, I have been deeply impressed by its impact, not only because photography is my passion but also because of its transformative effect on our community. There was an overwhelming sense of excitement when I shared the program with others, especially the girls. They realized that this opportunity was not just about learning how to use a camera but about building confidence and challenging the limitations they once believed they had.
Today, more than 13 girls who joined the program last year have become self-reliant and able to contribute to their families' well-being. The program's success inspires more girls to participate as they see their friends achieving what once seemed impossible. Our group has grown to 21 girls, ranging from 18 to 27 years old, many of whom are teenage mothers determined to give back to their communities and build sustainable lives.”
