Melanie Joyce Nabukwasi is a Ugandan journalist, documentary photographer, and trainer with Cameras For Girls, where she empowers young women through ethical storytelling. Passionate about solutions journalism, she focuses on narratives that challenge societal norms and uplift women creating change. Melanie also serves on the communications team at Plan International Uganda and is the CEO of Elgon Sita Coffee Dealers Ltd, a woman-led enterprise connecting women to better markets for honey and coffee. With a background in journalism, gender studies, leadership, and communications, she uses her voice and platform to amplify others and drive meaningful impact.
